As an entrepreneur for more than 25 years, Scott has experienced the joys and heartbreaks of entrepreneurial leadership.   He’s bootstrapped and sold an IT consulting company, helped take an airport services company from $5 million to $60 million in revenue, developed 500+ single family and twin homes, and currently owns Quick Space, which provides portable storage, office, and site services solutions to commercial and industrial customers in Northern Nevada. He also experienced many challenges and setbacks, including failed startup attempts, challenges with business partners and employees, and not prioritizing home life or his own joy.  In wrestling with these challenges, he has begun to walk the path of self-development which has allowed him to live his values, his purpose, and achieve many of his personal and professional goals.  This, and watching the leadership struggles of virtually everyone around him, inspired him to found Awesome Institute, where he and a team of coaches help leaders align their passion for leadership with the rest of their lives to become truly awesome humans.

Scott regularly presents, facilitates, and leads companies, organizations, and groups of all sizes in a variety of strategic planning and leadership learning topics around the world. He believes that entrepreneurial leadership is one of the most powerful forces for good on the planet.  He has held many volunteer positions as a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, including being a Director on its Global Board, and won the global Volunteer of the Year award.  He was a founder, trainer, and facilitator of the Strategy Summit program, and he was one of the key leaders that developed and rolled out the EO mission, vision, values, and brand.

He holds a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Scott lives in Arizona with his wife, Olga and their dogs, Roxy and Nemo. He loves to travel, finds inspiration and peace in natural settings, and really likes tacos.
